When you send an enquiry through the form on the contact page, we collect your name, email address and phone number, and any of the following that you choose to add: project location, approximate area, substrate condition, type of project, scope, preferred finish, timeline, budget range, project details, and how you heard about us.

If you write to us by email or WhatsApp, we receive the message and the contact details that come with it, together with any photographs you send.

When you browse the website, the services listed under “Services and cookies” below collect technical information such as pages viewed, device and browser type, approximate location and IP address.

• To reply to your enquiry and discuss your project.
• If you go ahead, to arrange a survey, agree the work and carry it out.
• To keep records of enquiries and work, as the law requires.
• To understand how the website is used, through analytics, and to run the chat assistant.

Enquiry details are used to deal with that enquiry. We do not sell your personal data. Enquiry details are stored by Netlify Forms, the technical information described under “Services and cookies” goes to the providers named there, and we otherwise share personal data only where the law requires.

We reply to enquiries on the basis of our legitimate interests in responding to people who contact us, and, where you ask us to take steps before entering a contract, to take those steps. We keep business records where the law requires us to.

Cookies and similar technologies that are not strictly necessary, such as analytics, need your consent under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations. See “Services and cookies” for the current position.

This website loads the following services. Each is a separate provider with its own privacy policy. Analytics and chat services may set cookies or use similar storage in your browser.

• Google Analytics 4 (analytics). Measures how the website is used, including pages viewed, device type and approximate location. It sets cookies. Provided by Google.

• Simple Analytics (analytics). Counts page views and clicks on outbound links, email addresses and file downloads. The provider describes the service as cookie-free. It is switched on through our hosting provider. Provided by Simple Analytics.

• SiteSpeakAI (chat assistant). Runs the chat assistant on the website. Messages you type into the assistant are processed by SiteSpeakAI, and the service may set cookies or use similar storage. Please do not include sensitive personal information in chat messages.

• Google Fonts (typefaces, provided by Google). Serves the Cormorant Garamond typeface. When a page loads, your browser requests the typeface from Google, so Google receives your IP address and browser user agent.

• Fontshare (typefaces, provided by Indian Type Foundry). Serves the Satoshi typeface. When a page loads, your browser requests the typeface from Fontshare, so Indian Type Foundry receives your IP address and browser user agent.

• Netlify (hosting and Netlify Forms). Hosts this website, and so receives technical request data such as IP address. Netlify Forms receives and stores the details you send through the enquiry form before we read them.

Links to WhatsApp, Instagram and LinkedIn take you to those services, which are not controlled by us. Their own policies apply once you use them.

Some of these providers may process data outside the United Kingdom. At the time of writing, this website does not offer a cookie consent control, so these services may load when you visit. You can refuse or delete cookies in your browser settings, and Google provides a browser add-on that opts out of Google Analytics.

We keep enquiry details for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and any resulting project, and for as long as the law requires us to keep business records. If you would like your details deleted sooner, write to contact@atelierdivenice.co.uk.

Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act 2018 you have the right to access your personal data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its use, to receive it in a portable form, and to withdraw consent where we rely on it.
